School’s out for a lot of folks in the Valley, which means it’s time to let loose. After spending the past year locked inside streaming our favorite playlists over and over and discovering new tunes on TikTok, we’re more than ready to go out and experience music firsthand again. Put on your boogie shoes, because there are plenty of opportunities for live music this weekend.

Country for a Cause
The Dubliner Irish Pub in Phoenix is looking to give back to the community in a big way — the restaurant will host the North2South Band as they perform live for the Country for a Cause event in support of the Amanda Hope Rainbow Angels program. A portion of the night’s proceeds will be donated to provide resources, financial support, and specialized clothes for children with cancer and those undergoing chemotherapy. The show starts at 6:00 p.m. and tickets will cost $25. VIP guests will have the opportunity to attend a meet and greet with the band for $50 per ticket. Country for a Cause: 3841 E Thunderbird Rd. Punk in the Park
It’s hot in Arizona! Punk in the Park keeps it cool with some rad riffs, food vendors and a poolside venue (water attractions will be closed). Punk bands Pennywise, H2O, Voodoo Glow Skulls, and more headline this one-day event Saturday May 29 at 1:00 p.m. at Big Surf Waterpark in Tempe. Ticket prices run between $45-$59 for general admission and $99-$150 for VIP admission. $10 cash will be required for parking. Rhythm on the Rails
Maybe a slow-moving, air-conditioned vehicle is more your speed. If so, check out Rhythm on the Rails at Verde Canyon Railroad Saturday, May 29 at 5:30 p.m. The best part? Each guest gets their own private concert from each band. Multiple bands covering a variety of genres will cycle through each train car, performing directly for the occupants of each car. Nighttime views of stars and mountains cap off the experience as the train winds through Clarkdale in Sedona. Admission will run $125 per person.
