For the past year, much has been put on hold. Travel plans, education, and for some couples, marriage. While some embraced the new online era ushered in by year-long quarantines and were more than happy to marry over Zoom calls, other couples have been patiently waiting to tie the knot in the big, in-person wedding of their dreams. While this has no doubt been hard for these couples, there is a silver lining.

“We are seeing wedding dates pushed back a bit so couples can plan ahead without having to worry so much,” says Enchanted Dream Productions CEO Angela Hetherington. The Scottsdale Wedding Walk itself was postponed last year due to Covid-19. Of course, people are looking to finally move forward with their wedding plans, and the Wedding Walk is ready for a comeback, too.

“Many venues and vendors are booking up quickly after having had to move so many events,” she continues. That’s where the Scottsdale Wedding Walk comes in.

Designed to introduce couples to reliable wedding vendors in the Valley, the Wedding Walk is meant to ease couples into the wedding planning process. “Our emphasis is on supporting engaged couples with one on one meaningful connections with trusted professionals within the industry. We want to take the stress out of planning,” Hetherington says.

The Wedding Walk accomplishes this by putting all your wedding needs in one place while offering a gorgeously relaxing backdrop.

“We have many vendors that have returned from prior years that we adore, plus a few that are new to the team,” Hetherington says. “Lori for example, with Very Special Dress brings a variety of beautiful veils that brides can try on during the event to take home. Couples can plan the honeymoon of their dreams with Joann of Tie the Knot Travel. There’s no fee to take advantage of her expertise.”

Being held at the McCormick Scottsdale for the first time to accommodate vendor location changes, couples just might feel like they’ve stumbled into an early honeymoon thanks to the beautiful local views. “The venue has a stunning view of the lake with a ceremony site facing the water. Guests can see the sunset from the ballroom, which is enclosed with glass windows, and also stay right there with first-class accommodations,” Hetherington says of the venue.

Those who aren’t quite ready to venture out to in-person events haven’t been forgotten. Hetherington’s Enchanted Dream Productions offers several online options to help couples in their wedding planning. Help and advice from other couples can also be sought out at Enchanted Dream Productions’ Facebook group, which can be found on the company’s Facebook page.

“Our heart goes out to couples who have had to put planning on hold. We are happy to help refer any services they may need through our vast network. We have listings on our website for many options.”

In the end, whether couples reach out over Facebook or attend the Scottsdale Wedding Walk or any of Enchanted Dream Productions’ more intimate, one-on-one events, what really matters to Hetherington and the rest of the team is that they can help spread a little joy during one of life’s most impactful moments.

“Congrats to all the newly engaged couples. We hope to see you soon,” Hetherington says.

The Scottsdale Wedding Walk will take place at The McCormick Scottsdale hotel on June 13 from 1-5 p.m. Register for tickets here
