2nd Annual Grassrootz Hip Hop Celebration at Grassrootz Bookstore & Juice Bar
August 11th and 12th  Grassrootz is here for the culture! Come celebrate the official birthdate of Hiphop Grassrootz Style at Grassroots Books and Juice Bar. Crash Test Dummies at Musical Instrument Museum
It’s been more than 30 years since Crash Test Dummies recorded their debut album, The Ghosts That Haunt Me. That album included the hit “Superman’s Song” and won the band a Juno Award for Group of the Year in its native Canada. The group’s success continued with 1993’s “God Shuffled His Feet,” with songs such as “Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm,” “Swimming in Your Ocean,” and “Afternoons and Coffeespoons” becoming hits and fan favorites. The album garnered the band Grammy nominations for Best New Artist, Best Alternative Music Performance, and Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group. “Masters of the Universe” at Orpheum Theatre
The All Puppet Players invite you to enjoy a movie “classic” with them as they bring their fuzzy lunacy to the most beautiful theater in Arizona, The Orpheum Theatre of Phoenix. This plush, inviting, 1364 seat house, with intricate murals and moldings will house the R-rated puppets as they celebrate the 35-year anniversary of “Masters of the Universe” starring Dolph Lundgren, Frank Langella, and Monica Geller.
