As we approach the holiday season, there’s a great mix of old and new events to add to your weekend agenda. Wednesday, the Phoenix Zoo has a sensory friendly light show for all audiences. Moving into Thursday, get your sweat on with a mass bike ride or ring in the pre-kend with a history happy hour. Friday and Saturday are filled with street festivals, such as Izakaya Night and the Phoenix Pizza Festival ,markets and concerts, and Sunday, as always, is for brunching. The Rocky Horror Show

ZooLights at Phoenix Zoo
Join in on a ZooLights experience designed for guests that thrive in a sensory-supportive/friendly environment. Grab a beverage and get ready for some fun with host Marshall Shore, Arizona’s Hip Historian. It’s a weekly happy hour showcasing interesting tidbits and curiosities from Arizona’s past. Critical Mass Ride
Critical Mass is a form of direct action in which people meet at a set location and time and bike, in mass, through local neighbourhoods. The meet-up promotes opportunities for groups of bicyclists to explore the streets together, based on the old mantra: There’s safety in numbers. This is a community pace ride. DC Young Fly: The Pop Up Comedy Series
Born and raised in Atlanta, DC Young Fly had the distinction of being named one of Variety’s coveted 10 Comics to Watch for 2019. Izakaya Night
Hawker Street Market is presenting its second Izakaya Night in downtown Phoenix. The term Izakaya means, “stay sake shop” in Japanese. The term is used for drinking and snacking taverns in Japan. They are places where people gather and share memories together over great food and ever flowing drinks. Phoenix Pizza Festival
At the annual Phoenix Pizza Festival, presented by T-Mobile, slices from a curated selection of 20 pizza makers. The event will include live bands, lawn games, desserts, local vendors, kid’s crafts and more. Bars will offer a selection of wine, beer, cocktails and beverages. All tickets are General Admission and do not cover the cost of food/drink items. The Ocean Blue at Crescent Ballroom
The Ocean Blue arrived as the ‘80s drew to a close, and their debut record on the famed Sire Records label in 1989 seemed to capture the best of the musical decade.
