It’s that time of year again: the Waste Management Open has arrived!

The “Greatest Show on Grass” has no problem living up to its reputation thanks to record-breaking crowds, the epic Bird’s Nest concert series, and, of course, the raucous 16th hole. This legendary weeklong event is like the Kentucky Derby of golf tournaments, attracting everyone from celebrities to athletes to tourists.

This year’s event promises to bring another record-setting number of spectators, so you’ll need a plan before setting out for TPC Scottsdale. Thankfully, we’ve got you covered. The following list is a breakdown of the best places to dine, drink and get a ride to this year’s event. Kick off the tournament right by making a stop at one of these local establishments.

Zipps Sports Grill

Zipps has all the staples of a classic sports bar: cheap beer, tasty bar food, and plenty of TV’s. You can start your Waste Management experience at either their Kierland or Frank Lloyd Wright location. They’re offering a free shuttle ride to and from the restaurant with the purchase of a $10 food and drink voucher. Even better, they have weekend specials from 11am-4pm that include $6 32 ounce domestic drafts, $8 speciality burgers and $4 zipparitas. Prepping for some late night munchies? Zipps’ nightly specials run from 8pm-close and include discounts on drinks, pizza, focaccias and wings. Shuttles run from Thursday-Sunday starting at 9:45 a.m.

K O’Donnell’s

Not able to score tickets to this year’s Bird’s Nest? Head to K O’Donnell’s instead. This Scottsdale sports bar will have nightly live music performances from cover bands on Friday-Sunday. They’re also offering shuttle rides to patrons so you can avoid those lofty surge pricing fees on Uber and Lyft. The $10 shuttle includes a $5 food voucher and access to any of their four shuttles to and from TPC Scottsdale. Shuttles run from Wednesday-Sunday starting at  am sharp. You can also chow down for cheap thanks to their special brunch menu running from 9am-12pm Thursday-Sunday. The menu will include specialty breakfast items plus deals on Bloody Marys and specialty cocktails.

WMO Party Bus

There’s no better way to start off Waste Management than with a party bus! The WMO Party Bus is back to help safely transfer the party crowd to and from Saturday’s event. You can start your day with specials on mimosas, bloody marys and specialty cocktails at popular bars throughout Old Town, Mill Avenue and Arcadia. This year’s list of participants includes big name bars like Bevvy, Bottled Blonde, CASA, The Montauk, El Hefe, Varsity Tavern and The Porch. All locations will open promptly by 9am and shuttles will return from 2-6pm.

#FrayLife Tip: Roundtrip tickets are $40 a piece, but you can save some money by packaging your purchase with a general admission ticket to the tournament on the event website.

Free Public Parking

You don’t have to pregame to enjoy Arizona’s best golf tournament. If you have a designated driver, there are plenty of free public parking spots with free shuttles to the tournament. You can head towards Mayo Boulevard and Hayden Road if you’re willing to fight the crowds. Once there, you can park in Lot H, which offers free shuttles to TPC all week long. You can also park at Lot W off of Bell Road and 94th Street. This lot has free general parking and shuttles from Wednesday-Sunday.
